A Shout Out For Help!

So, I'm in a bit of a panic.

Not really. But I am a little stressed.

To complete their European Unit at school, Jessica has to participate in the "European Cultural Cafe" on Wednesday. She has to bring an authentic dish from a European country of her choosing to share with the class. ***Read, Mom has to make a dish for her to take!***

Any thoughts, ideas or recipes? It can be food or a beverage. Remember, I have a 5 month old and not much time to invest! I do good to get dinner on the table for us. I've spent some time on the internet, but it's only making me feel more overwhelmed. Any and all suggestions are most appreciated!

Thanks!

They sold german cookies before Christmas, does it have to be homemade? Sorry I am not much of a help... hope you come up with something friend!:)

  3. Are meatballs authentic? If so and you need a recipe, shoot me an email and I can give you the recipe I use. My brain immediately goes to Italian for some reason...

  5. Two ideas that might work- Paella is a typical dish from spain you can make in the crockpot. Here's an easy paella recipe that shouldn't take too long to make

Another thought is just meatballs and pasta from italy

and lastly simple bratwurst and sauerkraut from Germany might work!

Best of luck- hope you find something easy to make! :)

  6. I am a simple person and not the cook at all. Could you just send some hummus dip from the fresh deli section of the store along with a bag of pita bread pieces???
